I was trained by the creator Alastair McLoughlin in 2018.
No machines, chemicals or equipment are used.
Scars are formed by laceration but also by trauma to the skin/tissue.
Some scars can feel numb, tight, restrictive and can have emotional attachments.
Research was carried out at Newcastle University in 2019 on 12 patients with C-section scars. Size and depth of the scars were measured before and after treatment. Follow the link below to view the research evidence.

Scars commonly seen for MSTR:
- Caesarean section scars
- Hysterectomy scars
- Spinal surgery scars
- Trauma scars such as those typically found on the knee
- Head wound scars
- Mastectomy scars etc…
- Amputation scars
- Underlying scar tissue from laparoscopic surgery
